This notice explains how Medallion SCG Financial Corp (“we”) handles information you submit through this website when enquiring about SME or personal loans, and information you voluntarily provide during subsequent contact.
2. Data and purposes
The form collects your name, telephone number, loan type and approximate desired loan amount range in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). We will use these details to respond to this enquiry, understand your loan interests, explain relevant options and arrange follow-up. We will also handle necessary enquiry records and privacy requests.
Our team will contact you after submission using the contact details you provide. This form does not automatically approve a loan. Approval and terms are subject to the lender’s assessment. Submitting an enquiry does not add you to unrelated promotional lists.
We also record submission time, interface language and the contact-consent version, and briefly process rate-limiting identifiers to prevent abuse. The page selects a language from browser preferences. Manual language choices are stored only in the current browser.
3. Your choice to provide data
You may choose whether to submit an enquiry. If you do, complete the fields marked as required. You may select “Not sure yet” if you have not decided on an amount. Without a name or valid telephone number, we may be unable to identify or contact you. Without the loan type, we may be unable to arrange suitable follow-up. Provide only data you are authorised to provide.
4. Access and disclosure
Authorised personnel and providers of necessary website hosting, data storage and communication services may process information to deliver those services. Website and storage infrastructure is provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare.
We will disclose only necessary data to providers performing relevant services on our behalf, with appropriate confidentiality and protection requirements. We may also disclose data to competent authorities where required by law. Before submitting your data to a lender or another independent organisation for a subsequent application, we will explain the recipient and purpose and obtain any required consent. We will not sell your personal data.
If relevant services involve processing outside Malaysia, we will comply with applicable cross-border transfer requirements and provide further notice or obtain consent where required.
5. Retention and protection
We will apply reasonable safeguards proportionate to the data and processing risks and restrict unrelated access. Data will be kept only for as long as needed for the stated purposes and applicable legal obligations. It will then be securely deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights and contact
You may contact us to request access, correction or updates, limit processing, withdraw consent, stop further contact, or raise privacy questions and complaints. We will handle requests under applicable law and may verify identity where necessary. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from continuing your enquiry, but does not affect processing permitted or required by law.
